Review & Swatch: SLEEK Eyeshadow Palette - Oh So Special & Acid

Finally I got these another Sleek eyeshadow palettes that I really wanted to have: Oh So Special and Acid. So until now, I've completed all of the Sleek eyeshadow palettes! Yeay!!! :)
Lets take a look at the palettes!

Oh So Special

Beautiful. I can use these eyeshadows for daily. You can take the soft colors for your lid and the dark colors for the socket. Or you can create daily smokey eyes using that grey or dark mauve purple.

Acid

First time I saw this palette, the neon colors really attracted my eyes. I thought it will be fun playing around with that colors. Buuuttt, when I swatched it. the colors didn't work out. I think I have to use a base color first, I'll give it a try later. What I love from this palette is those blues. They are gorgeous and really pigmented. I won't say this palette is great, but it's not bad also. Beside, I just want to complete my collection :)

If you want me to choose one of them, I will definitely choose Oh So Special because it's more wearable, especially for daily look. And also the formula is much more pigmented than the Acid.
So finally I've completed all the eyeshadow collection from Sleek for a while. If you have some palettes that I don't have, like Respect, Glory, etc, please let me know. I do love to see the review and swatch. Thanks for reading my super simple post. Have a great day!

FOTD: simple day make up

Actually, I was too lazy to did makeup for myself today until my daddy asked me to go to somewhere. My FOTD is really simple. I usually use nude or brown eyeshadow for day makeup, but today I wanted to do something different, I used soft pink eyeshadow that has shimmers on it. And I combined it with shimmery gold eyeshadow. I'll let you know all products that I used for this look :)

Steps:
1. Prime your eyes.
2. Soft pink eyeshadow all over the lid (you can use any soft pink eyeshadow you have).
3. Take shimmery gold eyeshadow, then tap it over the pink eyeshadow.
4. Create the outer corner using matte dark brown eyeshadow, take it to your upper crease a little bit. Don't go up too much. Blend.
4. Run the matte dark brown eyeshadow to your outer half lower lash line. Blend.
5. Apply a really thin eyeliner along your upper lash line then make a flick at the end. Also apply the eyeliner to the half bottom lash line.
6. Curl your eyelashes then give mascara. I'm done here. You can add fake lashes if you want.

The overall look. I have light skin, almost fair, but not that fair. I'm NC15, just for your reference. My face is a little bit lighter than my neck. I have small eyes, but not monolid. I have some acne scars on both of my cheeks. It's annoying, I know, but I don't wanna do any laser treatment or anything else to make it better. I'm just too scared to do that kind of things, scared of the side effects that might be happen. I have some dark acne spots. Those are my skin problems, but I don't wanna complain. I love myself just the way I am, and I thank God for that :) Oh one last thing that I wanna tell you, I have normal to oily skin, yes, combination skin.

- Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay-In Place Foundation #2C0 Cool Vanilla 62
- Make Up For Ever 5 camouflage cream palette

Review & Swatch: SLEEK Eyeshadow Palette - Part 2

This is my review & swatch part 2 of the Sleek eyeshadow palette.. Let's go straight to the point! :)

Bad Girl

Yap I know it's a mess! I dropped this palette and two of the eyeshadows are broken. I decided to buy the new one because I really love this palette! On the last post I've told you that I have ten Sleek eyeshadow palettes, and now I have the new Bad Girl palette on my hand so I've got eleven palettes! Yeay! Let's leave this dirty and messy palette and take a look at the new one :)

As you can see, my old palette is different than the new one: design on the packaging and on the eyeshadow.  Trust me, this palette is gorgeous for smokey eyes. You got the silver, green, blue, purple, and all are dark. And for me the black one is as black as the Blackout from Urban Decay. The highlighter colors are also beautiful. Nothing more I want to say about this palette, I just love love love it!

Sunset

To be honest, I've never tried this palette LOL. But as the others Sleek eyeshadow, the pigmentation of these eyeshadows are great. You can create warm smokey eyes. Or, you can create a nice gradation of orange to red on your eye lids, if you wanna playing around with bright and shimmery colors.

Sparkle 2

I'm a bit disappointed of this palette. It's called "sparkle" which I think the eyeshadows doesn't suit its name. When I first swatched it, I'm kinda "where's the sparkle?!?!" If you see the eyeshadow on the packaging, yes there're sparkles in there! But when you apply it on your skin..... Mmm..... It comes with random colors. Hmmm what do you think about the colors? I don't really like it. Maybe because I'm still mad about the name!!! LOL.. One thing that makes it special: it's limited editon. But anyway, I'll try this someday and let see if I'll turn to like it.

Supreme

It's limited edition. I got it and I love it! It's all matte, except the white one that has shimmer on it. You got many kinds of blue eyeshadows from this palette. And I'm really impressed with the olive color. I've tried create eye makeup with that olive and the color is so gorgeous for my dark brown eyes. Just for tips, don't forget to apply eye primer or eyeshadow base before you run this matte eyeshadow to your lids. It helps to add the intensity of the color and makes your eyeshadow stay for longer time :)

Snapshots

I believe you're with me if I say this palette is beautiful, aren't you? Some are matte, some are shimmery. These kind of colors are pretty for summer time. So go ahead, playing around with bright colors. If you like Sleek eyeshadow palettes as I do, this one is a-must-have-item.

Unfortunately, I missed some of the limited edition palettes such as Respect and Glory. But I'm gonna chase another palettes: Oh So Special and Acid. And if I can get it, I'll review and swatch it for you. Thanks for reading :)

Review & Swatch: SLEEK Eyeshadow Palette - Part 1

I'm gonna post more of eyeshadow palettes today. Now is Sleek Makeup's turn.

I own ten Sleek Makeup eyeshadow palettes until today. And I want to add more to my collection because the price is cheap, the quality is good and it has beautiful colors. I know it's hard to find Sleek products. I used to buy via online shop and now they don't sell it anymore because the Sleek Makeup's website is error (they said). Poor me.

So now I'm gonna reviewing and "swatching" five of my Sleek eyeshadow palettes.

1. Au Naturel

It suites for daily look, neutral look. The colors are good for every skin tone. Some are mattes, some are shimmering. I found that the mattes are too soft and you have to put layersss to get the exact color.

2. The Original

I love the purple one, and the blue one.. And the pink one, oh the green one also.. Okay, I love this palette! All colors are shimmering except the black one. Very pigmented! Can you see that? I put only one or two layers and I got this gorgeous color on my skin. And I didn't prime my skin, so now you know the quality of this eyeshadow!

3. Storm

I think this palette is a mix of eyeshadows that suitable for day n night look. Eyeshadows that on the top row are for day look, the bottom row for night look. Agree? It's beautiful. I love the shimmery champagne color, it's beautiful to highlight your brow bones. Especially in this palette, I love the shimmery light grey and the shimmery navy.

4. Ultra Matts V1

Sleek has two kinds of Ultra Matts palettes: bright and dark. This first one I'm showing you is the V1 which is the bright one. As its name, the colors are matte and really bright. I didn't know why I bought this palette because when I think again I'll never use this kinda color of eyeshadow for myself (or maybe if I have to attend cocktail party). But just because I'm a make up artist so I thought somehow it would be useful LOL. Honestly, the colors on this palette aren't really pigmented. You'll find that mattes color is harder to apply, like you need to apply it layers and layers to get the intensity of the color. Just for tips, these colors are great for cocktail party look, fashion makeup or for any others special makeup. But pleaseee, don't use this for daily :)

5. Ultra Matts V2

V2 which is the dark one. It's quite pigmented, maybe because it's dark. You can create nice smokey eyes with these colors. Nothing more to say about this palette. I love it.

Anyway, about the packaging. They are very light and simple. Pretty thin and small, like woman's wallet. It has a mirror that as big as the palette. You can put it in your make up case. And as you've seen above, some palettes have kinda net design on the eyeshadow, some others are just plain and smooth. What I know is the palette with net print on the eyeshadow is the old design, and the plain design is the new one.
Ah, I forgot something! Every palette has its own dual ended sponge brush. I never use it. I just threw it away LOL.
Later, I'll post the rest of my five Sleek eyeshadow palettes. See you!
